This Saturday's Brown Northeast Invitational has drawn its share of national-caliber runners to Goddard State Park each fall. Since 2010, 122 runners have broken 16 minutes on the generous five-kilometer layout, including course record-holder Edward Cheserek of St. Benedict's Prep.
